My name is Shannon Blancas, and I am the owner of Blancas Daycare De Colores a mother of seven kids, ages 7 – 26 and a grandma of four. We are a mixed family with birth children, stepchildren, and our adopted son. We fell in love with helping our local foster communities in 2016. After closing our State Foster License in 2021 on the day of our youngest son’s adoption, we recently made the decision to get back into working with children again but in a unique way opening a family licensed Daycare in our home in my hometown Arlington on our family farm that has been in our family for over 20 years.
